Corn Processing
Green Plains processes more
than 7 million tons of corn in
9 ethanol facilities strategically
located around the midwest.
From a growing base of interlinked physical assets, Green
Plains has created a chain of synergistic capabilities that
demonstrate its strategic efforts. This chart is a visual
depiction of Green Plains’ capabilities to extract value from
a kernel of corn.
This depiction also serves to map out untapped
opportunities that are within reach through the innovation
and resourcefulness of our associates up and down the
value chain. When we view this, we see clear guidance
and direction in our relentless pursuit of the BTU.
Feed. Food. Fuel. Green Plains is fully immersed in
identifying, harvesting, marketing and distributing
the energy inherent in a single kernel of corn.
Through the Green Plains business model, the
value stream from a single kernel of corn is
flush with opportunity.
